About Day-of/ Month-of Coordination:

This option is for couples who have the planning process in-hand, but need someone calm, cool, and collected (and experienced!) to take over in the weeks before the wedding to make sure vendors and your wedding day timeline are organized.

We will begin our relationship together when you sign your proposal, and I send along a wedding worksheet where you can begin to sketch out your timeline, organize your vendor plans and fine-tune the ceremony.

In the 3-4 weeks before your wedding, we will do a walk-through together on-site at your venue. From then on, I am like an orchestra conductor. I will weave together your plans, synch up your vendors and ensure they - and even your friends and family - are working in unison on the day and feeling good throughout. If any issues arise, I handle them in the moment. I’ve seen a lot in 15 years working weddings :) but I always handle any issues that come up with calm, capable hands.

  • Wedding Checklist Worksheet will be sent your way to drop your timeline, vendor contact information, ceremony details, music choices and more. This document will help all of your vendors to stay aligned on the day. As you fill out the details, you can always ping Jen for quick questions re: logistics.

  • Walk-through meeting at the Venue 3-4 weeks before the wedding, you will meet Jen for a one-hour walk through. We will walk the space, and you can point out the locations for your decorations, we can fine-tune your ceremony entrance, reception floor plan and talk through important dynamics that may arise on the day. (Jen is an expert family, kids and bridal party wrangler.)

  • Vendor confirmations Following the walk-through Jen will be in touch with all of your vendors to share the finalized timeline, floor plans, load-in and set up instructions for the day. Jen will share her phone # and other contact details so all vendors know that Jen will be their go-to on the day. Having worked in this space for 15+ years it’s likely Jen will have already worked with your venue, or vendors. It’s a small world :) Jen’s goal is to make sure vendors have all of the information they need to do what they do best on the day. When things need to quickly pivot in the moment (for ex.. couple wants to take a quick photo before the scheduled cake cutting time) Jen will be on the ground to keep vendors updated and aligned.

  • Ceremony Run-Through Jen will lead you, your bridal party and immediate family through a brief 15-minute ceremony run-through before guests arrive to ensure you are feeling confident, calm and excited for the ceremony. (This is a big help for parents of the couple, as this can help calm their nerves too!)

  • Decor set up Jen can place your personal items in the space (for ex, guest book, seating chart, escort cards or pre-arranged centerpieces that need to be placed on a table.)

  • Tip distribution Jen can provide guidelines for gratuities and help to hand out envelopes at the end of the evening so you have one less thing to think about.

  • Overseeing vendor load-out After the reception ends, and you’ve danced the night away with your loved ones - do you really want to be un-decorating, and loading out floral arrangements? Jen will stay and collect your personal items at the end of the night and help load them to the door as needed, while making sure the vendors have cleared out the space as you’ve contracted with your venue.

Pricing

When I meet a couple, I take time to understand the true scope of their needs for the day. Instead of a one-size-fits all approach, I create a custom quote to making sure you will be completely covered on the day but are not paying for services you don’t need. I was in your shoes when I got married.. trying to achieve my dreams on a budget. I strive to offer approachable pricing to couples going through this process today. Most couples pay around $1,900-$2,800 for Month-of/ Day-of Coordination in NYC based on the time they need me on hand for the day, but I do not have a minimum charge to take on a wedding. Every proposal I send also offers a-la-carte options to add or remove hours as needed to save you some money.
